Account & billing

Plans, payment methods, cancellation, resume, refunds — everything about the money side of Cariara.

Plans

Two plans, a Team plan, and 60-minute top-ups. Full breakdown on thepricing page:

  • Free trial — 3 days on every plan, card required, nothing charged until day 3. No Cariara Live AI minutes until you pay; end the trial early from Billing to start them.
  • The Engine (BYOK) — AI on your own Anthropic, Gemini and OpenAI keys, never on Cariara's; no Cariara AI minutes included. $15/month in the US and every country without a local price. See Model keys (BYOK).
  • The CoPilot (platform keys) — Cariara's model keys with 180 Live AI minutes each paid month; they reset each cycle and do not roll over. $49/month in the US and every country without a local price.
  • Local prices — Poland, Brazil, China, Mexico and Romania (Tier 2), the Philippines and Pakistan (Tier 3) pay in their own currency with a card issued there.
  • India — Student & Fresher Engine ₹99/month (verified school email), Professional Engine ₹299, Full CoPilot ₹499 with 180 Live AI minutes.
  • Team — tiered, 5–50 seats: $49 per seat per month for seats up to 25, $45 per seat above 25 (5 seats $245, 25 seats$1,225, 50 seats $2,350). Each seat adds 3 hours of AI time a month to the team's shared pool (seats × 3). Example: 10 seats = $490/month, 30 hours pooled.
  • Top-ups — 60 Live AI minutes each: $15 (Tier 1), $9 (Tier 2), $4 (Tier 3), ₹299 (India), by your plan's region (no plan needed: then your country's). Buy 1–50 in one checkout; they never expire.
Note
Top-ups stack on top of your subscription pool and only require an active subscription to purchase. The subscription pool refills each billing cycle; top-ups stay on your account until used.

Payment method

Cariara uses Stripe Checkout, so payment-method updates go through Stripe's hosted flow. Open Subscription & usage and start any top-up — Stripe Checkout opens, lets you update your default card, and the new card becomes the one used for future renewals and auto top-up off-session charges.

Canceling

Click Cancel subscription on the Subscription card onSubscription & usage. Cancellation is at the end of your current billing period — you keep all access until then, then drop to free.

Note
Cancellation only affects the recurring subscription. Top-up hours already in your account stay on your balance permanently and are not affected by subscription state.

Resuming a cancellation

Changed your mind before the period ends? The Subscription card on Subscription & usage flips to “Cancellation scheduled” with a Resume subscription button. Click it and Cariara calls Stripe to uncancel — billing resumes normally on the next renewal.

Refunds

The unused part of a top-up is refundable via admin review (hours already used are not). Open the Recent top-ups section on Subscription & usage, click Request refund, and a Cariara admin reviews within 1–2 business days. Once approved, Stripe issues the refund and the hours stop counting toward your pool immediately.

Warning
A pending request doesn't suspend your hours — they remain usable while the admin reviews. If the admin denies the request, the hours stay on your account.

Subscription refunds are case-by-case via support. Email support@cariara.com with your situation.

Invoices

Stripe emails an invoice for every charge to the email on your account. To get an itemized history, log into Stripe's Customer Portal — the link is in any invoice email — or email support and we'll send a CSV.
